In January, I suggested to the founders of the dev studio I’m currently working with that we should start writing blogs.
I offered my services as a copywriter in the position since my personal goal was to write more in 2025 - especially technical writing. My goal is to write concisely and break down complex technical topics for (non-technical) entreprenuers/execs. This gives us the opportunity to reach our target market and exemplify our areas of expertise.
This is the work I have done on the Bedrock Press thus far:
main learnings:
- curating your X feed can be a powerful tool for accessing important updates in the tech industry - but take everything with a grain of salt and look for the science to back it up.
- just read the white papers - its tedious and requires a lot of pausing and referencing and questioning - but it will always be worth it in the end.
- good writing demands consistency. the more you write, the better you get. and when you pause for extended periods of time, you tend to get set back on the voice and style you were developing.
